Local Marketing Strategies:

Local marketing doesn’t have to be complicated. As a matter of fact, the simpler you make it the better it can be.
The best strategies for acquiring new clients or customers can be as simple as using your local coupon book, direct mail, or using cutting edge marketing strategies like Facebook advertising and text message marketing.
Where Do You Start? What Is Best For Your Business?

I have dozens of websites hosted on over 5 different web hosting companies, and I’ve discovered that they are not all the same. I learned this the hard way.
The first company I used was Pair.com. They are OK, but they are more for techy types, and their system is not easy to use. Plus they don’t have the features I need to build my business and my clients websites.

I thought that it was normal because I had several plugins, and I thought maybe I needed to have a programmer optimize the databases on each WordPress site.
I even contacted support and they tried to tell me it was my data bases, and that my images may be too large or I have too many of them. They said it was not their servers that were the problem. I believed them.
In the meantime, I opened a new account with Hostgator.com because they had an unbelievable price on hosting and someone I respect recommended them to me. I could host as many domains on one account as I wanted (just like Startlogic). [click to continue…]
